About the role – Business Development Manager

Encompass are looking for a skilled Business Development Director to work in our Banking team, based in our London Office.

We are looking for someone to join an ambitious team and manage the complete sales cycle from identification to contract. You will be supported by pre sales, marketing,  product and delivery teams based in London to ensure your success every step of the way.

Excellent new starter commission plan (uncapped) with additional % payouts on new revenue closed in the first 9 months.

The Business Development Director will be responsible for the following duties:

  • To achieve new business revenue targets within a predefined territory

  • Create, nurture and manage your sales pipeline 

  • Be coachable and work with to a structured induction program 

  • Maintain an excellent level of market knowledge and become a trusted advisor

  • Develop account plans for strategic accounts in your assigned territory

  • Accurate reporting and full Salesforce utilisation 
  • Be an ambassador for the company at any client facing engagements 

  • Utilise associated Encompass sales tools, processes and methodology 

About you:

For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications/work experience:

  • 3+ years of successful/target achievement in software sales in an enterprise SaaS role, focused on selling to the Banking industry

  • 5+ years successful experience in 100% new business focused role, building a territory

  • Demonstrable consultative sales approach

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with experience of dealing at C-level
