Technical Solution Consultant
This newly created team and position present a rare opportunity to be part of a consulting practice, within a high growth, global FinTech/RegTech business. Our unique KYC automation technology has been adopted by major financial and professional service firms and we now have demand for a consulting team to work alongside our product and sales team, to engage with prospects and clients to help guide and inform the change process as they adopt a new solution to their KYC/AML challenges.
You will be an experienced technical consultant, having successfully delivered and consulted to clients delivering, API implementations in a financial services context.
Along with the Solution Consultant and Project Manager, you will be responsible for launching the client on our platform! You'll liaise directly with technical teams in the client organisation to manage implementation / integration projects, configure encompass accordingly, explain & demonstrate functionality, and drive projects forward to meet demanding deadlines.
In particular, you will focus on API implementations and be a point of contact in the business for clients, prospects and colleagues who have technical questions and they develop to our platform.
To be considered for this position, ideal candidates must have the following experience/skills;
Minimum of 5 years' experience delivering software solutions
Ideally experience delivering software solutions in a regulatory environment
Solid end to end implementation experience
Subject matter expertise in; Financial Services, Financial Technology, namely API Integrations.
An architecture or development management background is desirable as you will understand the wider technical aspect of projects, as well as the challenges associated with Implementation
You will support banks in the delivery of their integration projects. Assume that you'll be travelling a lot and working half of the time at the bank's offices
Previously worked with scrum teams.
Strong, client facing experience with an ability to manage internal and external stakeholders (business and technical).
Robust, Resilient, empathetic, collaborative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with excellent organisational, time and project management skills.
A determined and delivery focussed, positive attitude and flexibility when faced with multiple fast-paced, complex projects.
Capable of anticipate potential issues early and building strategies to mitigate or erase them.
Java, Angular.JS, RESTful Architecture, and RESTful APIs
Demonstrated involvement with successful implementation of new technologies in financial service organisations.

Hands on experience RESTful API
Understanding of agile Software Development
Able to lead software development best practices
Attend sales meetings with qualified opportunities where technical scope and details are being discussed
Carry out workshops with clients and prospects such to understand technical requirements

The solution consulting team is a new global team set up at encompass to:
Support technology sales process by providing consultation/guidance throughout the client engagement
Deepen client relationships and deliver greater value by providing trusted advice
Build on the KYC compliance expertise/authority in our business
Inject experience and expertise to the client's organisation/department
Reduce risk of failure and protect encompass investment in long T1 sales process
Design, build better solution(s) for each customer
A new ‘product/service’ which the sales team can sell for additional revenues
