About the role

encompass are looking for a Partnership Account Manager to join the Distribution team. The Partnership Account Manager will be responsible for executing the Distribution team’s strategy to assist the fast growth of this division within encompass. The successful candidate will manage one or more existing strategic partnerships. Some of these partner clients distribute encompass services either via the stand-alone web user interface, White Label or via an API feed. The successful candidate will be responsible for working very closely with the partner(s) in order to achieve sales growth targets, identifying new opportunities, upselling and cross-selling into these accounts. The role will mean engaging with partner clients and assisting them with all sales activities in taking the encompass product to market. Encompass is looking for a candidate that can identify, develop and build new opportunities with nominated accounts while executing and maintaining partner account plans.

Key responsibilities

●      Manage all aspects of named partnership relationships

●      Be involved in RFP, RFI and Bid processes, internally and externally

●      Upsell, Cross-sell and grow partnership revenues against targets

●      Work with internal marketing teams to plan mutual marketing activities

●      Work with co-sell, introducer and distributor partners to reach sales targets

●      Maintain an excellent level of product knowledge and be a subject matter expert

●      Engage with partners to plan onboarding of new data sets or products

●      Develop partner and alliance forums

●      Work closely with internal colleagues including partnership directors, sales, operations and senior management

●      Develop account plans and stakeholder maps for strategic accounts in your portfolio

●      Maintain Salesforce.com daily

●      Exceed KPI’s on a regular and consistent basis

Requirements for the role and your experience

●      3+ years of account manager experience

●      Experience managing partnerships and alliances

●      Some KYC/AML experience beneficial

●      Understand the principles of project management 

●      Experience in managing an RFP / RFI process

●      Ability to travel domestically and internationally if required

●      Experience working in fast paced organization

●      Experience working with large corporations

●      A consultative partner professional

●      Positive mental attitude and natural curiosity 

●      You will naturally demonstrate energy, desire and accountability

●      Proficient in using MS Office and  Salesforce.com
