Pre-Sales Consultant


Due to the rapid growth of the Partnership and Alliances practice within encompass, a rare opportunity to be part of the partnerships team has arisen. Our unique KYC automation technology has been adopted by major financial and professional service firms and we now have demand for a Pre-Sales Consultant to join the expanding team to work alongside our product and partnership team, to engage with partnership initiatives to help guide and deliver the encompass value proposition.


About the role


Encompass are looking for a skilled Pre-Sales Consultant to work in our Partnership and Distribution team, based in our London Office. You will work alongside our Sales, Product and Solutions teams and be a key contributor to complex sales processes, working closely with our prospects to ensure our best in class platform is successfully sold.  


We require a confident professional who works well individually as well as part of a cross-departmental team environment, and must enjoy the pace, variety and intensity of working for a scaling high-growth tech company.


About you


You will be an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant, who can be a product expert for our platform and its API, with the ability to deeply understand the client’s existing environment, documenting findings and delivering demonstrations to key stakeholders and teams, to assist in driving sales in Partnership and Distribution.


You'll liaise directly with technical teams in the client organisation to manage and run Proof of Value projects, documenting necessary processes and assisting the Partnership and Distribution team as required. You will need to be able to explain & demonstrate all functionality of the platform, to drive deals forward to meet deadlines.


In particular, you will be a point of contact in the business for prospects who have technical and product questions as they develop to becoming a client on our platform and be the point person at answering RFP/Is when required. You will also likely need to represent Encompass at key conferences or other marketing events and be able to evangelise about our platform’s robotic and AI based technologies at an expert level. The role may require international travel.


Requirements for the role


  • Strong, proven experience pre-sales for SaaS software solutions via UI and API

  • Ideally, though not essential, experience delivering software solutions in a regulatory environment, namely AML or KYC

  • Subject matter expertise in; Financial Services, Financial Technology, SaaS platforms, including API Integrations

  • You will support our clients in the delivery of their integration projects which may include white label solutions

  • Strong client facing experience with an ability to manage internal and external stakeholders (business and technical)

  • Capable of anticipating potential issues early and building strategies to mitigate or prevent them

  • Demonstrated involvement with successful implementation of new technologies in financial service organisations
