About the role
Encompass are looking for a Salesforce Administrator to join our team in our Glasgow office. You will report to the VP of Finance and be the key link between our centralized IT department and the commercial business functions.
The ideal candidate is a confident professional who works well individually, as well as part of a cross-departmental team environment, and must enjoy the pace, variety and intensity of working for a scaling high-growth tech company.
You will play the key role in the development of a department which adds real value to the business. You will support our revenue-generating operations, increase sales efficiency and our ability to forecast and report on performance. We are looking for an intelligent, highly driven individual with a passion for CRM administration and best practice, and sales process optimisation.
Own the configuration and administration of our global Salesforce Lightning platform
You will become familiar with the current salesforce deployment then redesign the infrastructure, dashboards and reports through extensive collaboration with the leadership team, finance and sales
Engage with key business stakeholders, defining a long-term strategy for our CRM platform aligned with our wider technology and security strategy
Work with internal stakeholders to capture and analyse requirements
Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
Actively participate in system testing and the roll out of system configuration changes and enhancements
Produce delivery proposals for projects
Provide first level support of Salesforce and 3rd party dependencies across the company, logging and tracking identified system issues through to resolution
IT Systems Management
Work closely with the business to own the Commercial IT systems that revolve around and integrate into our Salesforce instance, such as Zuora and HubSpot
Respond to user enquiries and work with them to recommend, prioritise and develop solutions to system configuration, data and reporting needs
Produce documentation and lead in end user training and system adoption
Act as an advocate for our commercial platforms to inspire best in class process and usage
Identify and recommend new ways to create efficiencies by streamlining business process
Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
Demonstrable experience as a certified Salesforce Administrator
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with senior management and your colleagues on a daily basis
Ability to understand and articulate complex requirements and translate into commercial solutions
Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and to maintain an excellent standard of work
You are happy to “get your hands dirty” with routine day-to-day tasks and tackling ad-hoc requests that are broader than just administering our Salesforce.com platform
Ability to perform with a high level of autonomy and also across various business functions
Experience working with Zuora as a native plug-in for Salesforce would be considered a major positive
